Kako Lagadi Beach is a secluded and remote beach known for its natural beauty and clear waters. Kako Lagadi beach cost is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature.

Our usual first stop is Kako Lagadi, located nearly 1.5 miles from the port of Poros. It is one of the most beautiful and famous beaches between Poros and Skala. While it is accessible by road, reaching it on foot is quite challenging as you have to climb down rocks and navigate a tricky path.Kako Lagadi is ideal for snorkeling and exploring its small cave, where a seal can sometimes be found, usually for giving birth to its pups. Visitors can also gather and enjoy fresh limpets straight from the rocks. Additionally, you can comfortably relax there for as long as you wish, thanks to the natural shade provided by the surrounding cliffs.

Leaving Poros and Ragia Beach, about 2 miles from the port, you will find two beaches. The first one, located at the 2-mile mark, is called Moni Sophie Beach, followed immediately by Makria Petra.

These two beaches are very close to each other and are ideal for snorkeling and spearfishing. At Moni Sophie, there is natural shade in the morning; you can drop anchor at a distance from the shore and swim to the beach.

The second beach, Makria Petra, is just a few meters further up. Due to the position of the sun, the sea colors there are stunning around 15:00. We usually drop anchor there to swim, so it is better to make a stop on your way back.

Xilomata Beach is a stunning location known for its clear waters and pebble beach. The beach is secluded, offering beautiful views and coves, making it a paradise for those who manage to reach it. The beach can be reached by boat more easily than by car. Once at the beach, visitors can enjoy the tranquility as it's not usually crowded. However, it's recommended to bring water shoes due to the pebble beach. No amenities.

Xilomata Beach is located approximately 5 miles from the port of Poros. It features similar stunning waters to Lazarou Beach, but it is larger in size. The shoreline is characterized by unique rock formations that resemble small caves, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling. It is also perfect for sunbathing, as you can easily swim to the shore and relax on the rocks.

Next stop: Secret Beach, located 8 miles from the port of Poros, I call it "Secret Beach" because you really have to know it's there to find it. Of course, with the map directions provided, it’s quite easy to locate. It is a beautiful, small beach that is usually deserted during the morning hours. It’s the perfect spot for: Snorkeling in crystal clear waters, sunbathing in total peace, relaxing far away from the crowds and the noise.

Nestled amidst lush green hills, this beach stands out as one of the most picturesque and beloved destinations in Kefalonia. Renowned for its glistening white pebbles and pristine waters teeming with diverse marine creatures, it captivates visitors with its natural splendor.

Next beach Antisamos, 9.5 miles from the port of Poros, one of the most famous beaches in Kefalonia and therefore very crowded since it is easily accessible by road and a top destination for anyone visiting the island, at this beach you can approach by dropping anchor near the water sports area while being careful of people, there are beach bars, an organized beach with umbrellas and sunbeds, water sports, and a beautiful landscape for photos especially from the boat.

Ragia Beach is a long, expansive beach known for its mix of pebbles and sand. Visitors are advised to bring water shoes due to the pebbly nature of the beach. The beach offers a decent view of the harbour, especially towards the southern end. 

Ragia Beach is located in Poros, in the southeastern part of Kefalonia, and is an excellent choice for those seeking a combination of clean waters and convenience. It is a large, organized pebble beach with crystal-clear, deep blue waters. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and imposing hills, offering a beautiful natural landscape. It is frequently awarded the Blue Flag for its water cleanliness and its facilities.

Visitors can unwind under the Mediterranean sun, swim in the refreshing waters, or simply soak in the breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. Accessible by boat or a short hike, Lazarus Beach is a peaceful retreat for travelers seeking natural beauty and relaxation on the enchanting island of Kefalonia. Around it, one can see large rock formations that look like they enclose the beach. There are no facilities at all on the shore, but there is enough space to place a towel or umbrella.

Lazarou Beach is the next stop, located 3.5 miles from the port of Poros. At this beach, it is advised to be cautious of the shallow area, which is easily visible due to its dark color. It is considered the best beach because of the stunning color of the sea; depending on the sun's position, the waters change hues. The ideal days to visit are when the sea is perfectly calm. At this location, we drop anchor at a significant distance from the shore and swim toward the spot indicated on the map. There are also plenty of fish to see - simply tossing a biscuit into the water is enough to gather them.

For travelers in Poros or Skala, a dive in the crystalline waters of Koutsoupia Beach is a must.

Next stop: Koutsoupia, located 6 miles from the port of Poros. This is one of the most famous beaches in Kefalonia and a popular meeting point for boat owners. It features stunning colors, an expansive shore surrounded by lush greenery, and is ideal for snorkeling and spearfishing. At this beach, you can drop anchor and head to the shore, where you will find a small canteen serving the best souvlaki, as well as refreshments, drinks, and fruit salads. Usually, there are also sunbeds available. Koutsoupia is a beach you simply must visit.

Discover the untamed beauty of Paliouras Beach where green reaches to the sea, mainly oaks, white pebbles and crystal clear, turquoise waters that reflect the nature. Its idyllic landscape and unspoiled wilderness is preferred by those who wish to combine swimming with fishing.

The next beach is Paliouras, located approximately 11 miles from the port of Poros. The map provides directions to its exact location. It is a beautiful bay-like beach, situated just before the port of Sami. It is ideal when the sea is calm, thanks to the stunning color of its waters.

Finally, Sami port is 12 miles from Poros port where you can dock at the harbor and go out to see the village and the shops you can have lunch and rest before the return journey it is important to remember that before you set off for Poros you change the fuel tank
