Leaving Poros and Ragia Beach, about 2 miles from the port, you will find two beaches. The first one, located at the 2-mile mark, is called Moni Sophie Beach, followed immediately by Makria Petra.

These two beaches are very close to each other and are ideal for snorkeling and spearfishing. At Moni Sophie, there is natural shade in the morning; you can drop anchor at a distance from the shore and swim to the beach.

The second beach, Makria Petra, is just a few meters further up. Due to the position of the sun, the sea colors there are stunning around 15:00. We usually drop anchor there to swim, so it is better to make a stop on your way back.
